Strength is how you win the corner and hold your ground. Force plates show how hard you push, how fast you get there, and whether both legs do their share.
Anyone can have a burst. The ones who matter still have it in the third period. We see your best effort, and how much of it is left on the fifth.
Speed slows the game down for you. You get there first, you pick the play, and the other bench has to draw one up just for you.
Your engine decides who's still flying in the last minute. Breath by breath, we find the two points where your body changes gears.
Every tenth of a second is about half a metre on the player beside you.
One sitting with your coach. Every number from the morning, drawn on one athlete: you.
Every number gets a target. The distance between today and that athlete is your program.

Every split, from your first step to top speed.

Breath by breath: your VO₂max and both turning points.
When the working muscle starts to fall behind.
Every beat, and the gaps between them.
Twenty-five years of knowing what to do with all of it.
Troy Beauregard came into the world premature, not given much of a shot at a normal life. In 1986 he watched a film about an athlete built in a lab, and one idea stuck: science can help people do extraordinary things.
Twenty-five years of coaching later he has worked with Stanley Cup, Calder Cup, national and provincial champions, won back-to-back Basketball Super League titles on the bench with the Sudbury Five, and built the lab he imagined as a kid, right here in Sudbury. Because athletes in the North deserve the same tools as anyone in the world.
A kid who wasn't supposed to make it decides science can make people extraordinary.
First-timers to Stanley Cup champions, across multiple sports.

Director of Sports Science for the Sudbury Five. Basketball Super League champions, with Troy on the team, not watching from the stands.
Back-to-back. Basketball Super League champions again.
Most coaches help athletes win titles. Troy was on the team for two of them, as Director of Sports Science for the Sudbury Five. The same science, the same eye, the same standard now goes to work on you.
"Troy not only met but exceeded those expectations. He went above and beyond, ensuring I had access to the best equipment and resources available to keep my recovery on track."
