HYROX Training Club

Know your race before you run it.

A full race simulation in Sudbury. Every run, every station and every transition timed, with your heart rate on every segment. Then a plan for what to fix before race day.

How a simulation works, station by station

  1. Your race, rebuilt

    Race day, before race day.

Your simulation runs on Waypoint, the performance system behind everything we do. Here's what it sees that a stopwatch can't.

  2. Runs · 8 × 1 km

    Every signal. One system.

Your heart rate, the ski and row machines and every split all land in Waypoint, second by second. Nothing written down after the fact. Nothing guessed.

  3. Station 1 · Ski · 1,000 m

    Race your ghost.

Ghost Mode races you against your last simulation, or a reference performance, split for split. You know whether you're ahead or behind at every station, not just at the finish.

  4. Station 2 · Sled push · 50 m

    What it costs you.

Calories burned on every run and every station, so you see how hard you're working and where your race gets expensive.

  5. Station 3 · Sled pull · 50 m

    Your engine, in context.

Waypoint's physiology engine reads your pacing and fatigue against your own physiology. Tested with us? That means your VO₂max, your zones and your turning points, not a generic chart.

  6. Station 4 · Burpee broad jumps · 80 m

    Find the leaks.

A slow transition. A run that fades after the sled. A station that costs more than it should. Every split lined up, so lost time has nowhere to hide.

  7. Station 5 · Row · 1,000 m

    Fuel built from your race.

What you burned, how hard you worked and how much you sweat become your fuelling and hydration plan, from a Certified Sports Nutritionist (CISSN), one of 21 active in Canada.

  8. Station 6 · Farmers carry · 200 m

    Rehearse the plan.

Your next simulation puts the plan to work at race pace. Waypoint shows how your fuelling, pacing and splits held up, before it counts.

  9. Station 7 · Sandbag lunges · 100 m

    Ready for race week.

With Race Prep, the week of your race we go through fuelling, hydration, pacing and strategy, built around your start time and your course.

  10. Station 8 · Wall balls · 100 reps

    After the finish line.

Send us your results and we review them station by station against what your simulations showed you can do. Then we plan what's next.

  11. Finish

No one else can show you this.

Every split, every heartbeat, every calorie and every ghost, from your first simulation to your race review. Only at VO2Peak.

Your appointment

Ninety minutes. Start to finish.

Every simulation is booked directly with Troy and runs 90 minutes, from briefing to review.

  1. Before

    Set up

Heart-rate strap on and a weigh-in on our force plates. We load your race, and your ghost: your last simulation or a reference performance.

  2. During

    Race

Eight runs, eight stations, every transition. We run the clock and capture the data. All you do is race.

  3. After

    Review

A second weigh-in for your sweat rate. Then you sit down with Troy: what we found, what to work on first, and how to pace and fuel it.

Built in other sports first

A team behind the driver.

Like an F1 driver with a team behind them, you bring the effort. We read what your performance is telling you.

24 years of athlete testing. A Stanley Cup winner. A Calder Cup playoff MVP. National champions. Marathon runners, ultra runners and triathletes.

Hybrid racing is a young sport. The science behind it isn't.
